2026 Faith Build Homebuyer
For Wilisha Johnson, faith is not just a word — it is her lived experience.
Wilisha is the proud mother of two daughters, Averie and Peyton, and works as a Certified Medical Assistant at Waccamaw Dermatology, where she cares for others with compassion and steady strength. But long before becoming a Faith Build family, her journey tested her trust in ways few can fully understand.
Her favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” — is more than a verse she memorized. It became a lifeline. After the devastating loss of her first daughter, Wilisha found herself walking through grief that could have broken her. Instead, through the encouragement of her grandmother and a deepening relationship with God, she learned that even when life makes no sense, faith can carry you. In time, she welcomed Averie and Peyton — a reminder to her that “God will give you double for your trouble.”
