Corporate Partnerships

burrforman

The mission of Habitat for Humanity of Horry County is to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Corporate partnerships are one of the many ways we can advance that mission.

Burr and Forman is one of those corporate partners who make our work in Horry County possible. This year, they have chosen to support the Habitat financial literacy program in an effort to increase financial knowledge and support self-reliance throughout our community.

The financial literacy program is a cornerstone of Habitat’s holistic approach to community development. The program aims to equip homeowners and community members with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of personal finance. From budgeting and saving to understanding credit and homeownership responsibilities, the program provides invaluable tools for individuals to achieve financial stability and independence.

For Burr and Forman, and other corporate partners, corporate giving isn’t just about balancing the books or maximizing profits; it’s about forging meaningful connections, fostering goodwill, and leaving a lasting impact on the community they call home.

“We are proud of our partnership with Habitat for Humanity Horry County and are enthusiastic to support their mission of promoting financial literacy in our community,” said Bhumi A. Patel, managing partner of Burr & Forman’s Myrtle Beach office. “By working together, we can positively impact the Grand Strand community and help build a brighter future for all.”

Corporate giving to Habitat for Humanity of Horry County can also yield significant reputational benefits, enhancing the company’s standing within the local community and beyond. As word spreads of their involvement in charitable endeavors, the corporation earns a reputation as a compassionate and socially conscious entity, attracting top talent, forging strategic partnerships, and opening doors to new business opportunities.

If you are interested in becoming a corporate partner, contact our Organizational Advancement Director, Rachel Kennon via email at [email protected] or phone at 843-999-6471.

Together, we can build a stronger Horry County one hammer swing at a time.
