Tierra, is a Community Outreach Navigator with CareTeam Plus, and currently resides in Conway.

She entered the Homebuyer program in the Fall of 2022. She was interested in the program after watching others’ success stories. Being able to build her own home while helping others with their home really stuck with her and made her want to do the same.

Mostly Tierra looks forward to being able to turn the keys to her own front door for the first time and being able to pull up to the front of the house knowing how hard she worked for it. She also envisions spending quality time with her family together watching movies and having game nights.

Getting her associate degree while still in high school and graduating with a bachelor’s degree have been highlights in her life, so far.

Thus far, she has learned through her Habitat experience that hard work will pay off in the end, and to get something she would love to have, she will need to put in the time and remember to stay dedicated.

The first thing she wants to do in her new home is to start decorating, cook, and invite her family over.

She would like to say to sponsors and volunteers that helping one person might not change the world, but it could change it for one person, and with that said, she appreciates you more than you will ever know.

Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

For Tierra, home is where love resides, memories are created, friends always belong, and laughter never ends. Home is where one starts from.
