A Powerful and Successful Kickoff

Habitat for Humanity of Horry County officially kicked off Women Build 2026 on March 4 at Ocean Reef Resort, bringing together community leaders, advocates, and supporters for an inspiring morning celebrating the impact and continued growth of Women Build.

Guests enjoyed breakfast, heard powerful stories of transformation, and joined in recognizing the 2026 Women Build Woman of the Year, Terri Nardslico. The event served as both a meaningful celebration and a strong call to action, reinforcing the community’s shared commitment to helping women-led families achieve safe, affordable homeownership.
