Myrtle Beach, SC – Habitat for Humanity of Horry County is currently accepting pre-applications for the Habitat Home Buyer Program. Pre-applications can be submitted now through November 30, 2018.
Applicants must have lived in Horry County for at least one year, fall within income limits, show a need for safe, decent and affordable housing, and be willing to partner with Habitat’s ministry. Habitat’s Home Buyer program is a 12-24 month program where families attend monthly financial classes, perform sweat equity hours, pay closing costs, pay down their current debt and agree to not take on any additional debt. Pre-applications can be picked up at the Habitat office or found online at www.habitatmb.org, along with the income limits.
All pre-applications must be submitted in person, along with the most recent six weeks of income verification, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Habitat office located at 165 Co-Op Rd. Myrtle Beach, 29588. For more information call 843-650-8815 ext. 8003.
