On April 1, 2021, Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce presented 28 awards that recognize the most visionary and community-driven businesses and individuals during its 82nd annual membership meeting. Habitat for Humanity of Horry County was selected as the 2021 Nonprofit of the Year!
The Nonprofit of the Year award category recognizes a 501(c)3 organization, that is also a chamber member, that demonstrates effective fundraising and outstanding contributions to the community.
“Throughout a year that has been unlike any other, HFH of Horry County has exemplified the words of its mission and further expanded its vision,” as noted by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
The award is an honor for all staff, board members and volunteers who work daily to fulfill the mission of Habitat in the Myrtle Beach community.
